Apoorva Jaiswal is a graduate of the School of Media and Cultural Studies, TISS. She has a keen interest in visual cultures and production practices. Currently working on a commercial documentary with VICE Media, she was also a part of an independently produced short documentary in 2020.

Anna Binu is an economics enthusiast who is trying to explore the boundless realm of media. She has pursued her master’s in media and cultural studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, after her graduation in economics from the University of Delhi. Having a strong passion to explore the unexplored, to meet new people, to make unknown and new cities home, she is a travel bug who has a penchant for documentary film-making. Her expertise lies in ideation, research, and video production. She has a keen interest to contribute to social causes and invoke changes in society in possible ways as she can.

Prakriti Singh is currently working as a Communications Associate at one of the leading think tanks based in New Delhi. She is an alumna of the School of Media and Cultural Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She has a keen interest in the intersection of gender and public health and reproductive subjectivities.

Divya Patnaik is a final year student of MA in Women Studies from TISS, Mumbai. She is passionate about the various gender discourses in India and is particularly interested in sexuality studies; the relationship between gender, media, and technology; as well as gender and education. Her current research focuses on intersectional masculinity.

Sadaf Nausheen completed her bachelor’s in political science from Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in women’s studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. Her thesis area includes understanding the idea and practice of love and marriages amongst young women and/or queer individuals. Her research interests also expand to media, culture and gender, politics and gender, and interpersonal relationships through a gender lens.

Ajaykumar Shukla lacks sight but not vision. Currently he is teaching in Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMC) in Mumbai. He has done his master’s from TISS Mumbai in Media and Cultural Studies. He aspires to become a filmmaker. He has made few short films and documentaries, out of which Intezaar (2017) has won at the Ole Festival and another at the Madhurai Film Festival. He has worked at Fever 104 FM (HT Media) and delivered a special lecture in Xavier’s College, Mumbai, on portrayal of disability in Hindi cinema. He wishes to contribute to the upliftment of disabled people.

Prashant Vijaykumar More is a Mphil scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters graduate of Media and Cultural Studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is a documentary maker and photographer by passion. His project ‘Occupational Inheritance’ was exhibited at The Institute for Endotic Research (TIER), Berlin, Germany. He also has been a JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) Fellow for a conference on communication in Japan. His interests lie in the areas of caste, education, gender, and empowerment.
